This is a great looking desk that was specifically what we were searching for. It's ideal for a computer on one side and place to grade papers or work on the other area. The shelves are fine to have too. The one thing I wish it experienced were a few drawers to ensure that I could keep pens, etc within, but a basket at the top works just fine. It had been very easy to assemble, I was able to put it together in about one hour, even at 28 weeks pregnant. If you are searching for a simple office table with decent space that is a great desk! Pros: Easy to assemble, sturdy, a good amount of space Cons: No drawers
I bought this desk mainly because a birthday present for my 12 year previous daughter, it came right on time, the portions were perfect with no damages. The size was what I anticipated. takes at least 4 hours to put together. The entire piece is fairly heavy, so asemble it where you want to place it. overall tidy look. the bookshelf is quite practical and fits more books than it seems too which is pleasant, the ony concern was that it took 4 time to assemble ( my hubby and 12 year good old assembled it). Be sure to read assembly instructions very carefuly. Overall great desk, just what my daughter needed and expected.

Buff the entire piece of wood with the second washcloth using quick, circular motions with light to medium pressure. I have some heirloom pieces of furniture passed down from my great grandmother (a secretary and armoire) that I was told absolutely NOT to use Pledge or other types of commercial products on because they produce wax build-up.
It will wash off dirt, dust and leave a light conditioning oil film to protect the wood from drying out. I have never seen a table setting competition at any of our UK Shows or Fairs I have been to but I have done a fair bit of it setting up photo shoots for the linen firm I used to work for so I have a special interest in the napkin folds on display!
